Who we are
The San Francisco Renters Alliance is a community-led organization made by renters and for renters to support renters’ rights and fair housing opportunities for all. Our members come from all walks of life, representing the diverse backgrounds and living experiences that every member of the community brings to the City to make it unique.
Our goal is to promote housing affordability, support increased housing in the areas that we need it most, and improve the quality of life for every San Francisco renter. We aim to be representative, engaged and forward thinking.
We believe that together, we can build a better San Francisco where housing is abundant and affordable and the market supports mobility for families and workers at every stage of life.

Whether it’s at City Hall or the State Capitol, we are here to help San Francisco renters connect with local representatives and key decision makers to advocate for pro-renter policies at all levels of government.
